Previously, the Kyrgyz team secured victories over the teams from Hong Kong (4:1), South Africa (7:2), and Iran (15:1), which allowed them to take the top position in the tournament.
At the moment, the teams from Kyrgyzstan, Mexico, Luxembourg, South Africa, Iran, and Hong Kong are competing for the championship title and promotion to Division 3A.
