World Championship (U-20) in Bishkek: Hong Kong Caught Up with Kyrgyzstan in the Standings

The World Ice Hockey Championship for youth teams (U-20) of the third division, Group B, is currently taking place in Bishkek.

The matches of the fourth round are scheduled for January 22.

In the first match of the game day, the team from Hong Kong faced the South African players and achieved a convincing victory with a score of 8:1.

This victory allowed Hong Kong to earn 9 points and equalize with the team from Kyrgyzstan in the tournament standings.

The Kyrgyzstan national team will play against Luxembourg in their fourth match, which has 6 points, with the start of the match scheduled for 20:00.

Only one team, based on the tournament results, will earn the right to compete in Group A of the third division.

In the first round of the tournament, Kyrgyzstan and Hong Kong already faced each other, and at that time, the Kyrgyz team won by a margin of three goals — 4:1.
