World Championship (U-20) in Bishkek: Umar Egemberdiev Leads the Scoring Race

In Bishkek, the youth world hockey championship (U-20) continues, where Umar Egemberdiev, representing the Kyrgyzstan national team, confidently leads the scoring list.

The tournament is taking place among teams in the third division (Group B) and includes six participants.

The Kyrgyzstan national team has won both matches, defeating Hong Kong and South Africa with an overall score of 11:3.

In these games, Egemberdiev, representing the "Uchur" club from Bishkek, scored three goals against Hong Kong and two more in the match against South Africa.

At the moment, he has five goals, which puts him in sole first place among the tournament's top scorers.

Additionally, eight players have scored two goals each, including Kyrgyzstani players Alihan Ali-Askarov and Yegor Leshchenko.

Furthermore, 23 hockey players have marked one goal, among them are two representatives from Kyrgyzstan: Tair Supokhunov and Bayaman Zholdoshbekov.
