The Kyrgyzstan U-20 team defeated Iran at the World Junior Ice Hockey Championship

On January 21, a match of the U-20 Ice Hockey World Championship Division III-B took place at Bishkek Arena in Bishkek, where the teams of Iran and Kyrgyzstan faced off.

Kyrgyzstan achieved a crushing victory with a score of 15:1, demonstrating dominance throughout the game.

The match started very successfully for the hosts, who opened the scoring just one minute in. By the end of the first period, the Kyrgyz team led 8:0, and in the second period, they added three more goals, finishing the third period with four more goals.

Alihan Ali-Askarov became one of the main heroes of the match, scoring four goals. Umar Egemberdiev and Yegor Leshchenko also made significant contributions to the team's success.

This victory allowed the Kyrgyzstan national team to earn the maximum number of points after three matches and strengthened their position in the championship standings.

The U-20 Ice Hockey World Championship (Division III-B) is taking place in Bishkek with teams from various countries participating. The next match for the Kyrgyzstan national team is scheduled for January 22, where they will meet the team from Luxembourg.
