At the home World Championship (U-20) in hockey, the youth team of Kyrgyzstan achieved its third consecutive victory.

The tournament is taking place in Bishkek among six teams in the third division (Group B).

In the third round, which took place on January 21, the Kyrgyzstan national team faced the team from Iran and secured an impressive victory with a score of 15:1. In this match, Alikhan Ali-Askarov scored four goals, while his teammates Umar Egemberdiev and Yegor Leshchenko each scored three goals.

After three rounds played, the Kyrgyzstan team confidently leads the tournament with a total of 9 points.
