Arvaz Akhmadi won silver at the tournament in Thailand

Athlete from Kyrgyzstan, Arvaz Akhmadi, won a silver medal at the international boxing tournament held in Thailand.

The World Boxing Futures Cup competition for boxers under 19 years old concluded on March 15 in Bangkok.

Akhmadi competed in the weight category up to 70 kg, where 40 boxers participated.

Starting from the 1/16 finals, he achieved four consecutive victories and reached the final.

In the decisive match, the Kyrgyzstani faced a representative from Kazakhstan. After three rounds of 3 minutes, the judges awarded the victory to the Kazakh athlete by a split decision.

Thus, Arvaz Akhmadi took second place and became a silver medalist.
