On the night of January 13, the final matches of Group A took place in Jeddah, where the Kyrgyzstan national team competed.
The Vietnam team surprised everyone by winning all three matches and earning 9 points, which allowed them to take first place in the group and advance to the playoffs.
In second place was the Jordan national team, which earned 6 points and also progressed further.
The tournament hosts, the Saudi Arabia national team, finished in third place with 3 points, which was unexpected, as the team exits the tournament at the group stage.
Unfortunately, the Kyrgyzstan national team had a disappointing performance, losing all their matches and finishing last, in fourth place in the group.
In the quarter-finals, Jordan will face the Japan team, which secured its place in the playoffs after two rounds. Vietnam will play against one of the teams from Group B, which will be either the UAE or Syria.
