On January 3, the new 2026 Dakar Rally raid World Championship kicked off in Saudi Arabia.

The race starts in Yanbu and will last until January 17, concluding in the same city.

Representing the FORD team, the crew of Denis Krotov and Konstantin Zhiltsov from Russia is competing in the new Ford Raptor T1+ No. 217 from the M-Sport Rally-Raid Team.

Both drivers will compete under the flag of Kyrgyzstan and with Kyrgyz licenses.

After the first eight stages, the Kyrgyz team is in 55th place overall among 80 participants. Their best result was achieved in the third stage, where they finished in the TOP-10.
