Not Just Drivers: The Police in Bishkek Are Taking on Pedestrian Discipline

In the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, the Patrol Police Service is implementing a preventive campaign called "Pedestrian." This initiative aims to reduce the number of road traffic accidents involving pedestrians.
According to law enforcement agencies, within the framework of this raid, police officers are recording violations of traffic rules and drawing up corresponding protocols under Article 190 of the Code of Offenses. At the same time, they are conducting explanatory work with citizens to enhance discipline and culture of behavior on the roads.

As noted by the Patrol Police Service, adherence to traffic rules is an obligation for everyone, including both drivers and pedestrians. The agency urged all road users to show mutual respect and responsibility.
