Kanybek Dosmambetov, the Minister of Health, visited the clinical emergency hospital to assess the condition of patients admitted as a result of the fire at the nursing home.
According to information from 24.kg, 14 people were brought to the medical facility: 13 of them are suffering from carbon monoxide poisoning, and one has first-degree burns.
Four patients are in moderate condition, two are in serious condition, and eight are in relatively satisfactory condition.
The severity of the patients' conditions is due to the presence of underlying health issues and the effects of carbon monoxide poisoning and combustion products.
The Minister of Health also reviewed the conditions of hospitalization and the treatment process, giving instructions to ensure the necessary medical assistance to the victims.
The fire occurred in the palliative care unit, where two severely ill residents of the nursing home died. The incident has raised serious concerns.
