As a result of the incident at the nursing home, 14 people were hospitalized at the Clinical Emergency Hospital.
According to information provided by the Ministry of Health, 13 of the victims were found to have carbon monoxide poisoning, while one patient suffered first-degree burns.
Health Minister Kanaybek Dosmambetov has already visited the victims in the hospital.
Of all the patients, the condition of four is assessed as moderate, two are in serious condition, and eight of the victims are in relatively satisfactory condition.
“The severity of the victims' conditions is related to the presence of underlying health issues, as well as carbon monoxide poisoning and combustion products,” the agency's statement clarifies.
