In Bishkek, at the Koyomkul Sports Palace, the Kyrgyzstan Sambo Championship 2026 took place on February 18.

According to the press service of the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports, 360 athletes from various regions of the country participated in the tournament, competing for medals.

Seven sets of medals were contested in the men's combat sambo competitions.

Weight category up to 58 kg

The gold medal was won by Daniel Asekov from SDYUSHOR SE (Bishkek).

The silver went to Zharkynbek Kilychbekov (Manas).

The bronze medals were awarded to Nursultan Kumar uulu (Osh) and Nursultan Toktorbaev (KGAFKIS, Bishkek).

Weight category up to 64 kg

First place was taken by Kalyis Koychumankulov from SK "Bars" (Bishkek).

In second place is Kutman Usupkojoev (Kyzyl-Kiya).

Third places were shared by Adil Turatov (SK "Bodrost", Bishkek) and Murzabek Usun uulu (Kyzyl-Kiya).

Weight category up to 71 kg

Kuttubek Toloshyev from SK "Bars" (Bishkek) became the champion.

The silver medal went to Sherzat Kudayberdiev (Manas).

Bronze was awarded to Zholdoshbek Balbaev (OSO, Karakol) and Ermek Nurbekov (Ton, Issyk-Kul).

Weight category up to 79 kg

Kurmanbek Zamir uulu (Manas) took first place.

In second place is Nurzhigit Rayimbekov (Osh).

The bronze medalists were Aydar Mamativinov (SK "Alykulov", Bishkek) and Marlen Zhenish uulu (Batken).

Weight category up to 88 kg

The gold medal was won by Bekten Erkebai uulu (Osh).

The silver went to Yryskeldi Abdrashit uulu (PSN, Osh).

Third place was shared by Baymyrza Abdybaev (Osh) and Aktan Boombekov (MIA).

Weight category up to 98 kg

First place was taken by Timurlan Toktobolotov (Osh).

In second place is Bekbolsun Kerimbekov (Manas).

The bronze medals went to Dastan Beyshenaly uulu (Osh) and Beknazar Zhemyrzaev (Manas).

Weight category over 98 kg

Alymbek Adil uulu (Osh) became the champion.

The silver medal went to Kansultan Saparbaev (Osh).

The bronze medalists are Kalil Osmonov (SK "Ilbirs", Bishkek) and Syimyk Kochkonbaev (MIA).
