Kyrgyzstani athletes became bronze medalists at the Asian Shooting Championship

At the Asian Shooting Championship taking place in New Delhi, athletes from Kyrgyzstan won bronze medals. This was reported by the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports of the Kyrgyz Republic.

According to the agency's information, Abdurazzak Muratov and Zhibek Bektasheva contributed two more bronze medals to the national team's tally.

In the VP-6 discipline (air rifle, mixed), Kyrgyz shooters demonstrated excellent results, showing high accuracy and team cohesion. As a result, they secured third place, becoming bronze medalists of the continental tournament.

Additionally, in the team competition among girls in the Air Rifle event (air rifle), Kyrgyz athletes also finished third, as evidenced by their bronze medals. The team consisted of Albina Tuleberdieva, Datkayim Sadykova, and Zhibek Bektasheva.

It is worth noting that Kyrgyzstan is represented by 16 athletes and three coaches at this championship.

We remind you that the Asian Championship is taking place from February 2 to 14 and includes competitions among boys, youth, and adults. The tournament features 385 athletes from 19 countries.
