Imandos Bektenov, representing the national team of Kyrgyzstan, has won a silver medal at the Asian Shooting Championship.
The championship, which is taking place in New Delhi from February 2 to 14, has gathered 385 participants from 19 countries. The competitions cover three age categories, and Kyrgyzstan is represented by a team of 16 shooters and three coaches.
At the end of the first day of competitions in the 10m Air Pistol discipline, two representatives from Kyrgyzstan made it to the finals. Askat Tokmokov finished in 7th place among adults, while among juniors, Imandos Bektenov took 2nd place and won a silver medal.
