The first round of the Higher League took place on March 3 in Bishkek, where "Bars" faced "Bishkek City".
Already in the 15th minute of the match, the home team opened the scoring due to a mistake by the goalkeeper of the Issyk-Kul club, Marcel Islamkulov. The first goal was scored by the newcomer of "Bishkek City," Vladislav Mikushin.
Immediately after that, "Bars" responded: the team earned a penalty, and the captain Valery Kichin approached the ball. His shot was saved by the goalkeeper of "Bishkek City," Artem Pryadkin, but the defender was the first to follow up and sent the ball into the net — 1:1.
In the second half, the situation repeated itself: "Bars" earned another penalty, which Temur Chogadze converted, beating Pryadkin with his first shot.
As a result, "Bars" won with a score of 2:1, earning 3 points in the standings.
