The camera trap, installed in May 2025 and capturing images in December, recorded rare species of animals such as the snow leopard, lynx, mountain goats, foxes, and a pack of wolves. Representatives of the ministry noted that such photographs allow for the study of animal behavior in their natural habitat without human interference and are an important tool for monitoring and protecting fauna.

The "Khan-Teniri" State Nature Park is located in the eastern part of the Issyk-Kul region, on the border of the Kungoy and Teskey Ala-Tuu ranges. It includes four sections: Aydyr-Tor, Sary-Jaz, Enilchek, and Kayindy.
The ministry also emphasized the need to protect rare species such as the snow leopard and lynx, which remains a priority task, and camera traps play an important role in monitoring and protecting wildlife.
