Wildlife footage: a snow leopard and a lynx spotted in 'Khan-Teniri'
The Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision of the Kyrgyz Republic has published new wildlife images from the State Natural Park "Khan-Teniri".

With the help of equipment installed in May 2025 and used for filming in December, rare species were captured, including a snow leopard, lynx, a pack of wolves, a fox, and mountain goats.

These photographs are an important tool for monitoring populations and protecting ecosystems.

The State Natural Park "Khan-Teniri" is located in the eastern part of the Issyk-Kul region, at the intersection of the Kungey and Teskey Ala-Too ranges. It includes four areas: Aydyr-Tor, Sary-Jaz, Enilchek, and Kayindy.

The agency emphasizes that the protection of rare animals is one of its key tasks. Camera traps are recognized as one of the most effective methods for protecting the fauna of Kyrgyzstan.
