Myktybek Oralbai Uulu, a Kyrgyz athlete, is preparing for his next fight in the UFC, as announced by the event organizers.
The UFC Fight Night 269 tournament will take place on March 15 in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, where the Kyrgyzstani will face American Chris Curtis in a welterweight bout.
Oralbai Uulu is in excellent shape, having achieved two consecutive finishes: he submitted Tofig Musaev from Azerbaijan with a kimura and knocked out Jack Hermansson from Sweden. Previously, in his first UFC match, the 27-year-old athlete lost to Mateusz Rebecki from Poland by split decision.
Chris Curtis, his opponent, is also coming into the fight with good results: in his last bout, he won against Max Griffin by decision, breaking a two-fight losing streak against Brendan Allen and Roman Kopylov.
It is worth noting that last year Myktybek moved up to welterweight, leaving the lightweight division, while Curtis is also having his second fight in the new welterweight category, as his previous performances were in the middleweight division.
