
The Accounts Chamber of the Kyrgyz Republic has completed an audit of the budget execution of the Ministry of Labor, Social Protection, and Migration for the year 2024, including its structural subdivisions.
The audit covered the period from January 1 to December 31, 2024, and aimed to assess compliance with legislation regarding the use of budgetary funds, as well as to analyze financial discipline and accounting practices.
As a result of the audit, financial violations and deficiencies totaling 36 million 560.3 thousand soms were identified, of which 11 million 225.4 thousand soms pertained to violations in accounting.
Some of the violations were rectified during the audit, and 2 million 12.4 thousand soms were restored.
The audit also recorded discrepancies in accounting practices, violations in the accounting of fixed assets, and instances where certain material values were not reflected in the accounting balance.
Additionally, violations in the appointment and payment of state benefits were identified, as well as cases of ineffective use of budgetary funds.
During the audit, adjustments were made to the accounting records to address the noted deficiencies.
Following the audit, recommendations were sent to the Ministry of Labor, Social Protection, and Migration for correcting the violations, improving financial discipline, and enhancing the efficiency of budgetary fund utilization.
