Most agricultural products with violations of veterinary standards in 2025 were imported from Uzbekistan

- In 2025, 112 cases of violations related to imported goods were recorded at border veterinary control points. This information was provided by the Ministry of Agriculture.

As a result of the inspections, return acts were drawn up and distributed by exporting countries as follows:

Republic of Uzbekistan – 51 return acts
  Republic of Kazakhstan – 48 return acts
  Russian Federation – 8 return acts
  Islamic Republic of Pakistan – 1 return act
  People's Republic of China (PRC) – 3 return acts
  Republic of Turkey – 1 return act

The Ministry explained that most violations are related to the non-compliance of veterinary accompanying documents with established standards, as well as violations of cargo safety requirements and veterinary-sanitary standards.
