At the National Investment Agency, which is subordinate to the president, a memorandum of cooperation was signed regarding public-private partnership within the framework of the project "Construction and Operation of the Western Bypass Road of Bishkek." The agency's press service reported that this document aims to implement a significant infrastructure project that is expected to improve transportation logistics in the capital and relieve existing roads.
The signing of the memorandum took place with the participation of representatives from the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Bishkek City Hall, JSC "Eldik Bank," LLC "Bat Jet," as well as the Chinese company "China National Heavy Machinery Corporation (CHMC)."
The main goal of this document is to coordinate the actions of all parties and create conditions for productive interaction during the implementation of the project. The signing participants confirmed their interest in developing a partnership based on the principles of equality, mutual benefit, and transparency.
The implementation of the "Western Bypass Road" is seen as a key step in the development of the capital's transport infrastructure and as an incentive for attracting investments into the economy of the Kyrgyz Republic.
