The State Tax Service identifies cases of fictitious electronic invoices

The State Tax Service (GNS) reported the detection of cases involving the issuance of electronic invoices (ESF) that do not have real economic operations behind them. This information was published by the agency's press service.

The violations were discovered as a result of an analysis based on a risk-oriented approach and the use of modern digital tools and information systems.

Some unscrupulous taxpayers deliberately distort tax accounting data by creating fictitious ESFs to generate illusory expenses and unlawfully reduce their tax liabilities.

These actions violate the tax legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic and may lead to liability as prescribed by law.

It is important to note that the issuance of ESFs is allowed only in the presence of real economic operations and confirmed actual movement of goods, works, or services.

The GNS emphasizes that any attempts to use ESFs for fictitious documentation will be detected and stopped.

The agency strongly urges such taxpayers to cease their illegal activities and transition to honest business practices, as the sanctions provided by law are serious and inevitable. Such schemes typically become the subject of investigation sooner or later and result in significant financial losses.

The GNS's work to identify and prevent such violations will continue and be intensified. All cases of fictitious issuance of ESFs will receive appropriate legal assessment.
