The meeting discussed key achievements and plans, as well as summarized the work done over the five years since the president's appointment. Japarov noted that the results show positive dynamics in all key areas of development, confirming the effectiveness of the chosen course.
“Dear participants of the meeting, as you know, on January 28, we celebrated the five-year anniversary of my taking office. This period has been filled with both achievements and serious challenges,” he added.
The president reminded that at the beginning of his rule, Kyrgyzstan faced many problems, including the consequences of the pandemic and a weak economic situation. “At that moment, I was entrusted with the responsibility for the fate of the country and the hopes of the people,” Japarov noted.
He recalled his first words after being elected, when he assured citizens that “everything will be fine in Kyrgyzstan.” “This was not just a promise, but my sincere duty to the people,” he emphasized.
“We have laid the foundation for sustainable development, and the results of this are visible in various areas,” the president said. He noted that from 2021 to 2025, the country's economy significantly strengthened, and GDP increased more than threefold.
According to Japarov, tax revenues increased fourfold, and customs duties increased sixfold. “This indicates that we have brought order to the financial system and reduced corruption risks,” he added.
According to the president, Kyrgyzstan has achieved financial independence and is capable of implementing large projects without external assistance. “We have managed to elevate the country to a new level,” he emphasized.
Additionally, Japarov touched on issues regarding the state border, noting that long negotiations with neighbors have been successfully concluded. “We have established clear borders, which is an important step for security and stability,” he noted.
The president also emphasized the fight against corruption, stating that many state property assets have been returned in recent years. “We have restored the rule of law and ensured business security,” he added.
In conclusion, Japarov stressed that power should serve the people and not be a tool for political games. “We have gone through many difficult moments, and now we need to continue moving forward based on the principles of trust and responsibility,” he stated.
At the end of his speech, the president wished everyone good health and well-being, expressing confidence that Kyrgyzstan has a bright future ahead.
