Mongolian masters in volleyball and basketball won gold, silver, and bronze medals in Abu Dhabi

At the Open Masters Games held in the capital of the United Arab Emirates, Mongolian veterans in volleyball and basketball demonstrated outstanding results.

As previously reported, from February 6 to 15, Abu Dhabi hosted the Open Masters Games — the largest multi-sport event in the Middle East, featuring over 25,000 athletes from 92 countries competing in 38 disciplines without age or qualification restrictions.

In the men's volleyball tournament, the Mongolia team, competing in the over 55 age category, won the gold medal. The Nomad team took second place, while the bronze went to a team from Kazakhstan.

The Mongolian women's volleyball team also achieved success, taking first place in the +50 category and receiving a gold medal.

In the women's basketball tournament, the Mongolia89 team won the bronze medal in the over 45 category, finishing behind the Czech team and the Russian team, which took second place.

The Mongolian men's team also excelled, winning the gold medal in the basketball tournament for participants over 45 years old, and also received silver in another tournament, where the first place went to a team from Moscow and third place to the WINGS UAE team.

Additionally, the women's team Happy89, competing in the 55+ category, also won a gold medal.
