More than 25,000 athletes from 92 countries are participating in the competition, competing in 38 sports, including 13 disciplines for people with disabilities. This is reported by MiddleAsianNews.

The Open Masters Games 2026 in Abu Dhabi continue under the guidance of the Organizing Committee, operating under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Teyab bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. This ten-day event is an important stage in the preparation for one of the largest international multi-sport events to be held in the Middle East from February 6 to 15, 2026.





A group of more than 40 residents of Mongolia, who have been studying together since 1989, maintain their friendship through sports.

These former classmates arrived in Abu Dhabi to participate in the Games for the first time, competing in basketball and volleyball.





At the same time, 92-year-old Radnaa Tseren won gold in the 100-meter race, competing in the 80+ category. He also won a silver medal, finishing in second place.
