In Osh, on Shakirova Street, work is underway to demolish illegal structures, as officially reported by the local mayor's office.
According to the information provided by the mayor's office, under the instruction of Osh Mayor Jenishbek Toktorbaev, the Department of Urban Planning and Architecture conducted an inspection during which buildings not complying with regulations were identified.
“Currently, the owners of restaurants and other commercial properties have begun the voluntary dismantling of those parts of the buildings that illegally extend beyond the established red line towards the roadway. They had previously been issued notifications and warnings,” the statement emphasized.
These actions are aimed at preserving the architectural style of the city, ensuring road safety, and preventing further illegal construction.
