Kazakhstan special forces won gold and silver at the UAE SWAT Challenge 2026

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated the fighters, noting their high professionalism and combat training


At the international tournament UAE SWAT Challenge 2026, held in Dubai, the teams from Kazakhstan achieved outstanding results, taking first and second places. As reported by The Astana Times, the Kazakhstan C team became the absolute champion of the competition, while Kazakhstan A took second place.

In this large-scale event, which featured 109 teams from 48 countries, the level of competition was very high. The President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, expressed his congratulations to the teams for their successful performance. Aibek Smadiyarov, the president's press secretary, reported that Tokayev noted the "high level of professional, physical, and combat training of the personnel of the Border Service, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the National Security Committee," as well as their determination to win and patriotism.

Other teams from Kazakhstan also showed commendable results: Kazakhstan B took eighth place, and Kazakhstan D — twentieth. The women's team Tomiris demonstrated excellent results, finishing eighteenth overall and becoming the best among women's units, outpacing many men's teams from other countries.

Tokayev added that the state would provide official recognition to the servicemen, emphasizing that their success has become a source of national pride and serves as confirmation of the high level of training of Kazakhstan's special forces on the world stage, as reported by The Astana Times.
