The advisor to the Supreme Leader of Iran stated that Iran can continue military actions against the USA and Israel for an "unlimited time." He emphasized that there is no trust in the USA from Iran, and further negotiations with Washington are not planned.

Iran's Foreign Minister: Trump betrayed diplomacy and his voters.

Araghchi, the Foreign Minister of Iran, accused President Trump of betraying diplomacy and the Americans who supported him due to the attacks carried out during the nuclear negotiations with Iran.

He noted: "When complex nuclear negotiations are viewed as a real estate deal, unrealistic expectations can never be justified," adding that the result of such an approach has been "bombing the negotiating table."

An attack occurred in Sulaymaniyah, northern Iraq, on a building previously used by the UN.

Kurdish authorities report that they are unsure whether it was a drone attack or a missile strike, but Iranian sources suspect that American military personnel may have been in the building.

Iranian opposition groups in the Kurdish region have also become targets for drone attacks.

Iran accuses the USA and the Israeli Mossad of supporting and arming Iranian opposition parties in northern Iraq.

The Islamic Resistance, a pro-Iranian group, claimed responsibility for the shelling of American facilities in Iraq, including the "Victory" base located near Baghdad International Airport. One of the drones was shot down.

This occurred after another drone, also sent by the Islamic Resistance, was intercepted near the airport.

Security services reported the seizure of nine rockets and a launcher in the Abu Ghraib area, near Baghdad.

The death toll from Israeli attacks in Lebanon has reached 12.

According to Lebanon's National News Agency, at least 12 people have died as a result of Israeli attacks today.

Six of them were victims of a strike on a residential building in Baalbek, while another six died as a result of attacks in the Aramoun and Saadiyat areas south of Beirut.

Additionally, 23 people were injured during the attacks, two of whom are missing.

Spanish Prime Minister: This is how the greatest catastrophes begin.

Prime Minister Sanchez, critical of the American and Israeli strikes on Iran, stated his government's position: "No to war," indicating that the Spanish people are against "this catastrophe."

He reminded that the invasion of Iraq in 2003 only exacerbated global instability and that a war against Iran would not lead to a more just international order.

Sanchez noted that the current crisis is "the beginning of great catastrophes for humanity," urging governments not to "play Russian roulette with the fate of millions."

Trump, for his part, threatened to halt trade with Spain due to its refusal to provide its bases for operations against Iran.

Brief overview of events:

French fighters shot down Iranian drones over the UAE: Minister Barro.

Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barro reported that French Rafale fighters neutralized Iranian drones targeting the United Arab Emirates, where hundreds of French military personnel are stationed.

On Tuesday, Barro confirmed the deployment of fighters at the Dhafra base near Abu Dhabi to protect against Iranian attacks.

President Macron also announced the deployment of France's flagship aircraft carrier to the Mediterranean in response to rising tensions.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) reported conducting military operations along the Iran-Iraq border, where Kurdish formations operate.

This is significant for two reasons, as noted by Al Jazeera.

Military operations have primarily been conducted by the IRGC's air forces, which have carried out missile strikes; however, now ground forces are also involved in securing the border. Iran fears that a weakening of military power could lead to border destabilization and internal uprisings.

The main threat to Iran comes from Kurdish forces, as well as Baluchis and Arabs. This poses a serious risk to the country.

There are also reports of contacts between American officials and Kurdish leaders, prompting Iran to take measures to prevent destabilization.

Shipping companies assess Trump's guarantees for the Strait of Hormuz as a partial solution to the problem — Bloomberg.

President Trump stated that the USA would ensure the free movement of energy resources through the Persian Gulf with insurance guarantees and naval escorts. However, representatives of the shipping industry consider this only a partial solution to the current issues.

Analysts at RBC Capital Markets note that while Trump's words about insuring tankers have led to a decrease in oil prices, the implementation of this plan may face serious difficulties.

Due to the risks associated with passage through the Strait of Hormuz, shipping companies are facing rising freight costs, and the largest insurers are refusing to insure vessels in this region.

Iran's Foreign Minister accused Trump of derailing negotiations.

Abbas Araghchi, Iran's Foreign Minister, stated that Trump's actions and his unrealistic expectations led to the derailment of negotiations regarding Iran's nuclear program.

“When complex nuclear negotiations are perceived as a real estate deal, unrealistic expectations can never be realized,” Araghchi wrote on X.

He added that Trump "betrayed diplomacy and the Americans who elected him."

Negotiations between the USA and Iran regarding the nuclear program took place in Oman and Geneva in February 2026, and Iran assessed their results as positive. However, after the start of a joint operation by the USA and Israel against Iran on February 28, Trump stated that there was nothing more to discuss.
