During this meeting, details of the implementation of the public-private partnership project "Construction of the Makmal-Karakol Railway" were discussed, the agreement for which was signed in February 2025.
This project aims to develop the railway infrastructure in the Kyrgyz Republic and create conditions for integration into the Trans-Eurasian Transport Corridor.
During the discussions, issues related to the implementation of modern technologies and the application of global standards in the field of railway transport were also considered.
According to the agency, the implementation of this project will improve transport connectivity between regions, increase the country's transit potential, and create new opportunities for economic development.
