During the discussion, participants focused on the possibilities of public-private partnerships (PPP) and attracting foreign investments, as well as on developing long-term strategic relationships in construction and energy, where the Chinese company has significant experience.
Ravshanbek Sabirov emphasized that Kyrgyzstan is interested in attracting reliable international investors and pointed out the country's readiness to create optimal conditions for the implementation of investment projects.
“A new investment law has been adopted in our country, aimed at creating a transparent and favorable climate for investors. This law provides all necessary guarantees for the protection of investors' rights and their investments. We are open to direct investments and projects within the framework of PPP,” Sabirov added.
During the meeting, several key investment initiatives were presented, including the construction of the Chatkal Cascade, hydropower plants of the Upper Naryn Cascade, the development of the tourist project "Ala-Too Resort," the creation of the International Trade and Logistics Center "At-Bashy," as well as the Topurak-Bel wind power plant project and the Turk-Sib - Balikchi railway section.
The projects presented by the parties generated significant interest from the Chinese delegation. Various formats of company participation in the implementation of infrastructure and development projects were discussed, including PPP mechanisms and direct investments.
At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed their intention to continue the dialogue and detail the areas of cooperation, including investments in construction, energy, and urban infrastructure.
