From 2016 to 2025, the volume of accumulated Chinese FDI in the region grew from $19.6 billion to $35.9 billion.
One of the Chinese investment projects that ranked among the 11 largest in the region is the coal logistics center Xinjiang Dacheng Yuanlong Technology, located in the Osh region, with a value of $430 million.
According to the terms of the agreement, the investor is responsible for financing the construction of the coal logistics center with a conveyor belt of 157 km and its subsequent operation using its own and/or attracted funds.
