In Kyrgyzstan, the conditions for the construction of a large logistics center for the marketplace Wildberries are actively being discussed. This was reported by Bakyt Sydykov, the Minister of Economy and Commerce, during a meeting of the parliamentary group "Ala-Too," where current issues of the textile industry were addressed.

In response to questions from parliamentarians about resolving the problems faced by garment workers regarding the import of goods into Russia, the minister noted that local entrepreneurs must now pay import VAT on the territory of the Russian Federation.

Sydykov added that negotiations with Wildberries are at the final stage, but he cannot disclose more detailed information at this time.

“The creation of a large logistics center on a site of 28 hectares is planned. We are close to finalizing the investment agreement, after which the approval process will begin. Wildberries will create a separate center, which will be a significant project, providing jobs for 6,700 people solely in the delivery sector,” the minister noted.

According to him, the launch of the facility is scheduled before 2028.

Earlier, Azamat Kerimbek uulu, the director of the "Legprom" association, reported that back in 2023, the owner of Wildberries, during her visit to Kyrgyzstan, requested a plot of land for the construction of this logistics center.
