In 2026, the economy of Kyrgyzstan will continue its development thanks to domestic demand, investments, and increased government spending. This forecast was presented by the senior economist of the World Bank, Bakyt Dubashov.

According to Dubashov, the main factor contributing to this growth will be domestic stimulation of the economy. Private consumption is expected to rise, as well as the volume of investments and expenditures in the public sector.

“We base our expectations on the fact that economic activity will be supported by domestic factors. In the real sector, growth will be driven by industry, construction, and services,” he added.

According to the World Bank's estimates, the growth of Kyrgyzstan's economy in 2026 could reach 6.5%, indicating the continuation of positive trends in the country's economic development.
