- The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jeenbek Kulubaev, commented on the situation regarding the imposition of sanctions against Kyrgyz companies.

He stated that Kyrgyzstan has offered to provide the necessary documents and conduct an independent audit; however, according to him, "the other parties consider this impractical and continue to impose sanctions unilaterally."

Kulubaev emphasized that this situation is unlawful, as Kyrgyzstan is located in a strategically important region of Central Asia, where numerous trade and transit routes pass. "We will continue to work within the framework of the sanction regimes and conduct consultations, but we cannot completely suspend trade with our traditional partners," he added.

In his opinion, in the context of conflicts and economic crises, Kyrgyzstan is obliged to maintain trade and ensure the safety and well-being of its citizens.

"We adhere to international obligations, but if there is serious evidence, it must be presented. At the moment, they cannot provide any evidence; however, sanctions continue to be imposed," the minister noted.

Furthermore, Kulubaev reported that at the level of the European Union, the United States, and the United Kingdom, Kyrgyzstan is actively negotiating and intends to continue this activity.
