In his report, Zheenbek Kulubaev noted that one of the most significant events during Kyrgyzstan's presidency in the CSTO was the first meeting of the heads of government of the member states, held at the initiative of Bishkek. This summit, which took place in September in the capital of Kyrgyzstan, was an important step in developing cooperation within the organization, raising it to a new level.
During its presidency, Kyrgyzstan organized over 40 specialized events. Despite unfavorable international conditions and growing cross-border threats, Bishkek managed not only to maintain the continuity of the CSTO's work but also to initiate new memorandums and integration agreements. According to the minister, the republic successfully fulfilled its obligations as the leader of the organization, making a significant contribution to strengthening the collective security system.
Throughout the year, special attention was paid to political coordination and improving mechanisms for responding to current threats. The main areas of work remained the fight against terrorism, extremism, drug trafficking, and transnational crime, which required deep interaction among the law enforcement agencies of all member states.
