On January 6, a telephone conversation took place between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, Jeenbek Kulubaev, and his Belarusian counterpart, Maxim Ryzhenkov, as reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During the dialogue, the ministers discussed important issues concerning Kyrgyz-Belarusian relations. In particular, they reviewed upcoming visits at the highest and high levels, as well as the schedule of contacts between the foreign ministries of the two countries.
Additionally, in the context of preparations for the upcoming meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, there was an exchange of views on the agenda and cooperation within this organization.
At the end of the conversation, the parties exchanged greetings for the upcoming New Year, as stated in the press release.
