Visited more than 10 countries. Where did Sadyr Japarov travel in the outgoing year
In the outgoing year of 2025, the President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, made 23 trips abroad, covering more than 10 countries. His total distance traveled exceeded 150,000 kilometers.
The head of state traveled outside the country almost every month, and at times he made several consecutive trips.
The first official visit in 2025 took place on February 4 to China, where the president arrived in Beijing. Japarov held meetings with the Chairman of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping, Premier of the State Council Li Qiang, and other high-ranking officials, as well as participated in the opening of the IX Winter Asian Games in Harbin. This visit concluded on February 7.
At the end of March, the head of state traveled to Khujand, where a trilateral summit of Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan took place, aimed at signing a border agreement. The presidents held an online ceremony to unveil a stele at the junction of the borders.

On April 4, Sadyr Japarov participated in the first summit "Central Asia - European Union" in Samarkand, where he also discussed issues with the President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development Odile Renaud-Basso and other European leaders. During the forum, he spoke on the topic of climate threats.


On April 21, Japarov made an official visit to Bahrain, where he held talks with King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and other government representatives. This was the first official visit of the Kyrgyz president to Bahrain.

In May, the president participated in the Victory Parade in Moscow, arriving on May 8. He was presented with copies of historical newspapers "Kyzyl Kyrgyzstan" and "Pravda," dated May 9, 1945.
In the same month, Japarov visited Budapest to participate in an informal summit of the Organization of Turkic States, where he held talks with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and visited the new building of the Kyrgyz embassy.

On May 30, the president traveled to Astana to participate in the first summit "Central Asia - Italy." The theme of the summit was dialogue between Central Asia and Italy.
On June 17, Japarov visited Astana again to participate in the "Central Asia - China" summit, where he also met with Xi Jinping.
On June 24, an official visit to Kuala Lumpur took place, where the president held talks with Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim. This was the first visit of the Kyrgyz leader to Malaysia in the last thirty years.

On June 25, Sadyr Japarov returned to Bishkek, and the next day flew to Minsk to participate in the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council and the IV Eurasian Economic Forum.
During the trip, he familiarized himself with military and special equipment being developed in Belarus.

On July 2, the president found himself in Moscow again, where he met with Vladimir Putin.
The next day, he visited Baku to participate in the 17th summit of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and the opening of the "Aiköl Manas" school, built by Kyrgyzstan for the people of Azerbaijan.
In addition, he observed a performance of Karabakh horses in Khankendi.

On July 8, the president held a meeting in Dushanbe with Emomali Rahmon, where they discussed cooperation between the two countries and visited a product exhibition. An investment forum also took place during the visit.
After that, until the end of August, the president did not travel abroad, but on August 31, on the Independence Day of the Kyrgyz Republic, he traveled to China, where he met with Xi Jinping.
From September 1 to 3, he participated in the celebration of the 80th anniversary of Victory in World War II in Beijing.

On September 22, Japarov arrived in New York to participate in the 80th session of the UN General Assembly, where he spoke at the debates and held a number of meetings with international leaders.
He concluded his visit on September 25, returning to Bishkek.

On October 6, the president visited Azerbaijan again, and on October 9, he was in Dushanbe for the "Central Asia - Russia" summit.
On November 4, he traveled to Egypt, where he held talks with President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi and attended a business forum.
Additionally, he visited the pyramids on the Giza plateau and the Grand Egyptian Museum.

From November 4 to 7, the second visit to the USA took place, during which the president met with high-ranking officials and participated in the "Central Asia - USA" summit.


On November 15, Japarov visited Uzbekistan again to participate in the VII Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia, where he also held bilateral talks with President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.


On December 3, the president traveled to Pakistan, where he held meetings with high-ranking representatives, including the Prime Minister and the Chairman of the Senate.
On December 11, the head of state arrived in Ashgabat to participate in an international forum dedicated to peace and neutrality.
In the last month of the year, on December 18, he visited Japan, where he met with the emperor and participated in the "Central Asia - Japan" summit.
After that, Japarov traveled to Russia, where he met with Putin again and participated in the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council. Here, he was awarded the International Leo Tolstoy Peace Prize for his contribution to strengthening peace in the region.
