On December 30, 2025, a meeting took place between the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, Amartuvshin Gombosuren, and the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of China to Mongolia, Ms. Shen Minjuan. The Deputy Minister noted at the beginning of the conversation that for Mongolia, relations with China are one of the main directions in foreign policy. He expressed readiness for active cooperation with the ambassador to deepen and expand bilateral ties.
Ambassador Shen Minjuan, in turn, congratulated Amartuvshin on his new appointment and expressed her joy regarding the resumption of joint work. She also confirmed her readiness to cooperate within the framework of developing a comprehensive strategic partnership between the two states.
During the meeting, key areas for further development of Mongolian-Chinese relations and cooperation were discussed, as well as upcoming visits and joint events planned for 2026.
