Marat Nuraliev, who held the position of Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Qatar, has been relieved of his duties due to a violation of ethical standards. This was announced at a press conference held by Foreign Minister Jeenbek Kulubaev in Bishkek, where he answered questions from media representatives.

The minister noted that although Nuraliev performed reasonably well in his position, he still violated the ethical norms for public servants.

“As a public servant, he is obligated to adhere to ethical standards. Therefore, we proposed his dismissal from office,” the minister explained.

Additionally, Kulubaev added that the department will initiate checks to assess compliance with ethical norms among employees.

Information about the termination of Marat Nuraliev's powers, who was appointed ambassador two years ago, emerged at the end of December 2025. The official reasons for his dismissal were not disclosed; however, rumors circulated on social media that Nuraliev was suspected of bigamy, which is a violation of the country's legislation.
