Emomali Rahmon made personnel changes in the judiciary and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan

On January 12, the President of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, made personnel changes affecting the judicial system and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country.

In particular, proposals were presented in parliament for the dismissal of Supreme Court judges Muhammadjaloliddin Kenjazoda and Safarbek Gulomzoda due to the expiration of their terms, according to information from the president's press service.

At the same time, it was proposed to re-elect them to judicial positions, as well as to appoint Mahinabonu Safarzoda and Ikroma Rahmonzoda as judges of the Supreme Court of Tajikistan.

Odil Nuralizoda was also proposed for the vacant position of judge of the Higher Economic Court of the country.

As a result of the presidential decrees, chairpersons of courts were appointed in the capital districts of Sino and Shohmansur, as well as in Murghab, Shahriston, Vakhsh, Rasht, Khovaling, Rudaki, and Nurek.

Additionally, new deputy chairpersons of courts were appointed in the Khatlon and Sughd regions, as well as in Dushanbe and other cities.

The changes also affected the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan.

Foreign Minister Sirojiddin Muhriddin received three new deputies:

Idibek Kalandar (previously served as Tajikistan's ambassador to Vienna);

Nigina Alizoda (formerly worked as the first deputy minister of justice);

Sanoi Boyzoda (previously worked in the State Committee for Investments).

As reported by "Asia-Plus," these three positions had remained vacant after recent changes, but it is not specified who exactly was replaced.

In addition, the president also made personnel changes in the National Center for Legislation, the Agency for Supervision in Education and Science, as well as in the Chamber of Commerce and other institutions.
