As part of the initiative to strengthen ties between Central Asia and China, a secretariat will be established that will take on the responsibility of coordinating the implementation of agreements, monitoring the execution of joint projects, and serving as a permanent platform for dialogue between the countries of the region and the PRC. As reported by Podrobno.uz, this decision has been made to enhance the effectiveness of cooperation.

The President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, signed the corresponding law, which was developed in accordance with the goals set out in the Xi'an Declaration of May 19, 2023.

The ratification of this document will allow Uzbekistan to participate more actively in regional integration processes and will contribute to the development of economic, investment, infrastructure, and transport-logistics ties between states, which, in turn, will lead to an increase in trade turnover.
