International Forum of Literature as a Humanitarian Initiative

An international scientific and pedagogical forum was held in Moscow at the Lomonosov Moscow State University, where the Congress of the Society of Russian Literature took place alongside the competition "Echo of the Great Victory in the CIS Space." As reported by kz24.news, this event brought together scholars and educators in the humanities from the Commonwealth of Independent States, who are engaged in research on the history of the Great Patriotic War and its contemporary perception in the educational sphere.

The competition, which is part of the extensive program of the forum, was organized to present scientific and methodological works based on archival data and modern research approaches. Experts evaluated the submitted materials based on criteria of scientific validity, novelty of facts, and their relevance to educational practice. The organizers emphasize that such initiatives contribute to the formation of a common humanitarian space and the development of professional dialogue between scientific institutions in the region.

Work on Heroes of the Soviet Union from Kyrgyzstan Awarded a Diploma

As a result of the competition, a diploma was awarded to Doctor of Historical Sciences and Professor of the Institute of History and Socio-Legal Education named after E.Zh. Maanayev at the I. Arabayev Kyrgyz State University, Synara Alymkulova. Her monograph "Kyrgyzstanis - Heroes of the Soviet Union and Full Cavaliers of the Order of Glory: New Facts, Names" is dedicated to clarifying and systematizing information about citizens of Kyrgyzstan who were awarded the highest honors during the war.

The work utilized archival documents and biographical materials, which allowed for the supplementation and restoration of information about heroes whose contributions have not been adequately reflected in scientific discourse. The research emphasizes personal stories of the war and the contribution of the republic's natives to the overall Victory, making it significant for historical science and educational programs.

Jury's Recognition for Work on the Panfilov Division

Also recognized in the competition was the work of Kazakh professor Laila Akhmetova. As previously reported, her research is dedicated to the history of the 316th Rifle Division, known as the 8th Guards Division named after General Ivan Panfilov, formed in Central Asia and playing a key role in the defense of Moscow in the fall of 1941.

Her publication emphasizes that the research is based on extensive archival sources and details the combat path of the Panfilov Division, which included fighters from Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. The feat of this unit is considered by the author as an important part of the region's historical heritage and an object of scientific analysis in the context of the Great Patriotic War.

Significance of the Competition for the Scientific Community

The international competition "Echo of the Great Victory in the CIS Space" is perceived by the organizers as a sustainable humanitarian platform that unites the scientific and educational communities of the Commonwealth countries around a common theme of historical heritage. Its importance lies not only in the summation of the competition results but also in creating a professional environment where research outcomes become the basis for intergovernmental academic dialogue and expert discussion.

The uniqueness of the competition lies in its emphasis on scientific integrity, working with archives, and the applicability of results in educational practice. The recognized studies are seen as a potential foundation for future scientific publications, educational programs, and inter-university projects, which gives the competition practical significance and elevates it beyond a formal contest.

The participation and recognition of works by researchers from Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan within the same competition highlight the shared nature of historical memory among the countries of the region and demonstrate the relevance of international humanitarian formats. In this context, the competition contributes to strengthening academic ties between scientific schools in the CIS and affirms the importance of joint projects in preserving and interpreting the legacy of the Great Patriotic War.
