What do Kyrgyz people consider the most important achievements and events of 2025 for the country? Survey results

At the Kusein Isaev Center for Social Research (CISR) at BGU, a survey was conducted from December 25 to 29, the results of which showed what achievements and events of 2025 Kyrgyz citizens consider the most significant for the country.

According to the data obtained, 54.7% of respondents highlighted "the construction of apartment buildings, schools, hospitals, kindergartens, and stadiums" as the most important achievement. 29.3% of survey participants emphasized "the construction of roads," while 19.2% pointed to "the launch of new enterprises and factories." Additionally, 16.2% of respondents noted the importance of "the fight against corruption and illegal privatization." Also, 13.2% of those surveyed underscored the significance of "resolving border issues" with neighboring countries.

This survey aimed to study the social sentiments and expectations of the citizens of Kyrgyzstan in light of the results of 2025 and the upcoming 2026. The research was conducted online using the CISR panel, with the participation of 1,039 respondents from seven regions and the capital, Bishkek.
