According to representatives of the promotional company in Kyrgyzstan, the event featured seven bouts between boxers from the two countries. As a result, Kyrgyz athletes managed to win four of them.
In particular, Vadim Baurin (72.5 kg) finished his fight with a knockout in the sixth round against Katsuhiko Nakata. Islam Torobaev (54 kg) won against Seiya Meguro by unanimous decision. Similarly, Askhat Kultaev (64.5 kg) defeated Ryan Yamamoto, and Adilet Kachkynbekov (52.100 kg) overcame Yoshiki Minato.
It should be noted that two similar tournaments by Saikou X Lush Boxing Promotions were previously held in Bishkek, gathering the best boxers from Kyrgyzstan and other countries. These events included participants in title bouts under the WBA Asia, WBA, and IBF versions.
