At the FIDE World Rapid Chess Championship taking place in Doha, Mungunzul Bat-Erdene managed to defeat Ju Wenjun, the four-time world champion.

In the final match of the day, Ju, playing with the white pieces, faced Mungunzul Bat-Erdene, a challenger from Mongolia, whose rating is 300 points lower. In the game, Ju had the opportunity to win, but due to a lack of time, she made a mistake and ultimately lost.
