From March 16 to 17, 2026, employees of the Service for Countering Extremism and Illegal Migration of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of Bishkek, in cooperation with the Center for Employment of Citizens Abroad of the Ministry of Labor, Social Protection, and Migration of the Kyrgyz Republic, conducted inspections of private employment agencies.
As a result of the inspections, it was found that a number of agencies were sending citizens abroad without the necessary licenses and permits, which violates current legislation. Consequently, the activities of five agencies were temporarily suspended. Administrative fines of 55,000 soms were imposed on each legal entity, totaling 275,000 soms.
The Main Internal Affairs Directorate of Bishkek reminds that employment of citizens abroad requires mandatory licensing. Violation of these requirements entails liability in accordance with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
