On that day, the gym of the school was filled with an unusual atmosphere — instead of the usual sounds of whistles and bouncing balls, the air was filled with the arias of Giuseppe Verdi and Giacomo Puccini, while the children listened in awe, holding their breath.

According to the press service of the Kyrgyz National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater named after Abdylas Maldybaev, a concert featuring the theater's soloists took place at the Orozaly Tekeev Secondary School, located in the village of Bukara in the Panfilov District of the Chui Region.

The organizer of this educational event, aimed at introducing schoolchildren to classical art, was the theater's director Naila Rakhmadieva.

Local residents eagerly awaited the artists. The gym, which accommodated everyone who wished to attend, gathered students, their parents, friends, and villagers.

On stage performed the People's Artist of the Kyrgyz Republic Baktybek Ybykeev, Honored Artists Aizirek Momunova, Aibek Saralaev, Nurzhigit Asanov, as well as international competition winners Kristina Sevostyanova, Salima Mamatova, and Murat Derbishaliev. The concertmaster of the evening was Nurzhan Toktobekova.

The children listened with genuine interest to arias from famous operas by Giuseppe Verdi, Giacomo Puccini, Gioachino Rossini, Charles Gounod, and Ruggero Leoncavallo, as well as works by Kyrgyz composers such as Nasyr Davlesov, Kaliya Moldobasanov, Atai Ogonbaev, Ashyraaly Aytaliev, and Musa Bayetov. For many of them, it was the first opportunity to see and hear real opera singing.

A special surprise for the participants was the master classes: on vocals — from the famous baritone and People's Artist of the Kyrgyz Republic Baktybek Ybykeev, and on visual arts — from the artists of the "M" gallery under the guidance of Meerim Akmatkulova. In a relaxed atmosphere, the children were able to ask questions to the professionals and learn more about creative professions.

The audience sent off the artists with thunderous applause and sincere words of gratitude. After the concert ended, the hall remained full for a long time — excited children shared their impressions. This meeting undoubtedly left a warm mark in the hearts of the young spectators and reminded them that great art can find its place even in a school gym.
