36-year-old Nurzhan Savatbek kyzy, who lives in the rural area of Ken-Bulun in the Issyk-Ata district of Chui region, has become the new heroine of the "Zheneke" column.

Nurzhan was born in 1990 in the village of Tegirmenti, located in Chon-Kemin, Kemin district.

She shared that she met her future husband only twice, and by their third meeting, they were already married.

"In 2008, I graduated from school and enrolled in the Faculty of Kyrgyz Philology at the Kyrgyz National University named after Jusup Balasagyn. In 2010, I got married and moved to Ken-Bulun, where I started working as a secretary at the local school named after Osmon Lailiev, and then I taught for four years. Since 2020, I have held the position of head of the village library," Nurzhan said.

Her husband, Marat Ashimov, was born in 1986 and also grew up in Ken-Bulun. They met in 2010 thanks to Nurzhan's older sisters. "We saw each other only twice, and then we decided to start a family. I didn't even know when he was born. In the early days after the wedding, when my brothers' wives came to visit me, I cried and wanted to leave. But soon I realized that my husband is a kind and understanding person. Sometimes, when he got up early in the morning to milk the cow, I playfully ran away into the house. Fortunately, we became happy parents of two daughters," she added.

Nurzhan believes that for a harmonious family, a man should be responsible, and a woman should be understanding. During her six years of working in the library, she learned a lot.

"Working in the library is an activity that is hard to put into words. It requires a lot of effort and at the same time brings joy. I receive certificates and thanks from the district administration and the village council," she noted.

Despite the decline in interest in reading books among young people, Nurzhan and her team strive to engage schoolchildren through drawing and artistic reading clubs, as well as other events.

"Working in the library is very exciting, but it requires a lot of effort. We organize various events, including anniversaries of writers and poets, meetings for medical workers, military personnel, and people with disabilities," she said.

In her free time, Nurzhan enjoys reading and dreams of having more children in the future. "If my children are happy, then I am happy," she concluded.
