Munduz was born in the village of Ak-Zhar, located in the Talas region, and got married in Aral, which is in the Manas region. Her future husband entered her life through mutual friends, and their acquaintance began 19 years ago with phone conversations. After a year of communication, on February 23, 2007, they became husband and wife.
“After the wedding, I had a unique experience — I had never milked a cow or a horse before marriage. We spent two years in the summer pasture (жайлоо), and now, looking back on those days, I realize that life on the жайлоо was wonderful,” Munduz shares her memories.
Since childhood, she dreamed of a large family. Being the youngest in a family of seven children, Munduz always wanted many daughters. “I love it when there are many girls in the family. My name, Munduz, has a special meaning and is given in honor of the name of our clan. My older sisters are Jyldyz and Kunduzy,” she added.
Munduz has seven children, including:
- Kanybekova Ayturgan — born in 2008;
- Kanybekova Aysalkyn — born in 2010;
- Kanybekovaamina — born in 2012;
- Kanybekova Uulkelisin — born in 2015;
- Kanybekova Salikha — born in 2017;
- Kanybekova Nurayim — born in 2021;
- Kanybekov Ramazan — born in 2023.
“According to the will of the Almighty, we have six daughters and one son. All the births were attended by the same midwife, our neighbor, who always called my husband with joyful news,” she said.
On the street where Munduz lives, there are six girls in their house, and the neighbors have four daughters. “Our younger brothers are friends, and once my brother came and laughingly told that his friend Bakyt noticed: 'What kind of street is this, only girls are born here? They should be relocated from here!' He laughed about it for so long. When I gave birth to my son, everyone started joking: 'She probably decided not to move, that's why she had a son,'” Munduz recalled with a smile.
Each of her children has their own dreams and character. “By communicating with them, I understand that each one likes something different. My husband and I support them, wishing them success in their studies, good jobs, and meeting worthy partners,” she concluded.
