Located in the mountainous area of Ak-Shyyrak in the Issyk-Kul region, the Duyshena school, known as the dwarf school, has for the first time in its history graduated a student from the 11th grade. The correspondent from Turmush spoke with the director of the Ak-Shyyrak boarding school, Zamira Akideeva.

Zamira Akideeva shared the deep history of her educational institution, noting that a hundred years ago, efforts were actively made to eliminate illiteracy among the children of the mountain Kyrgyz. Currently, 47 children are studying at the boarding school, and the teaching staff consists of 17 people. Despite the modest number of students, the teachers make every effort to ensure quality education and upbringing. The school regularly hosts various events, including open lessons and competitions. For example, a recent competition for performing the epic "Manas" was supported by the state natural reserve "Sarychat-Eertash," which provided financial assistance.

A significant moment in the school's history was the graduation of the 11th grade by a single student for the first time—Aiperi Damirova, who has become a symbol of pride for the residents of the Ak-Shyyrak mountainous area. Great hopes are placed on her. The director noted that the school educates creative and versatile children, and the year 2025 was completed with good results. She expressed hope that in 2026, the work would continue with the same enthusiasm and responsibility, adding that they have both experienced mentors and young teachers.

Ak-Shyyrak is a village located near the Kyrgyz-Chinese border, 240 kilometers from the district center of the Jeti-Oguz region—Kyzyl-Suu village. This area is characterized by harsh climatic conditions, and the village has about 90 households.
